Donate Easter eggs to local families in need this Easter!

Coopers Square is encouraging donations as part of an Easter egg drive to support families in need this Easter by accepting donations of Easter eggs to donate to the YMCA food bank, as the cost of living crisis continues to impact everyone.

The drive, which will be a mix of donations from the centre and donations made by customers, aims to support local families in need this April.

Baljit Kooner, Centre Manager for Coopers Square Shopping Centre, said: “Coopers Square continues to find ways in which we can positively support the community we serve. Our partnership with the local YMCA is an important one in ensuring that families in need don’t miss out this Easter.

“Easter is a time where the whole community comes together – and during these difficult times for all, it’s important that we take a proactive drive to support the Burton community where we can.

“We urge customers to donate Easter eggs to our donation point in the centre and contribute towards this fantastic cause.”

Customers can donate with an Easter egg at the donation point in the centre, which is situated in the main square.
