Coopers Square Welcomes Sonic Boom Festival Pop-Up Shop

Coopers Square Shopping Centre is turning up the volume this month as it proudly welcomes the brand-new Sonic Boom Festival pop-up shop, located next to Primark. The shop brings the energy of the festival directly into the town centre, offering visitors the chance to purchase festival tickets, exclusive merchandise, and enjoy a taste of the action with live music and gig pop-ups.

The pop-up officially launched last week with a performance from Taylor Liam Jackson, a rising star on the BBC Introducing radar, who drew an impressive crowd inside the centre. And there’s even more to come – with a line-up of fantastic acts set to perform across Saturday and Sunday, shoppers and music fans alike can enjoy festival vibes in Burton ahead of the main event.

Baljit Kooner, Centre Manager at Coopers Square, said:
“We’re proud to be official supporters of Sonic Boom Festival and delighted to bring something so exciting right into the heart of Burton. The pop-up shop and live music create a real buzz in the centre, giving our community the chance to experience a flavour of the festival while supporting local and emerging talent. It’s another great example of how Coopers Square can be more than just a place to shop – it’s a place where the community comes together.”

By teaming up with Sonic Boom Festival, Coopers Square is reinforcing its role at the centre of Burton life, connecting people not just through retail but through shared cultural experiences. With more acts, surprises, and announcements on the way, the Sonic Boom pop-up promises to be a highlight for visitors.
